Psygil is a desktop IDE for clinical and forensic psychology, built by Foundry SMB in Colorado. We publish software that makes the record defensible under any review and keeps the decisions where they belong, with the licensed clinician.

Evidence ledger, not a decision engine.
The easiest way to ship a tool for clinicians is to let the model draft the diagnosis and ask the human to click Approve. We refuse to build that. It is ethically wrong, it is legally unsupportable, and it is obvious to any attorney cross-examining the report. Psygil is the opposite posture.
Every fact is sourced.
Intake fields typed by the clinician. Scores timestamped by scorer. Quotes tied to transcripts. Orphan claims do not make it into the report.
Reproducible on demand.
Cryptographic attestation on every signed report. Reconstruct the full decision trail in minutes when the defense asks for it.
How we work
Why we built local-first when the industry went cloud.
Every other report writer asked: how fast can we process a clinician's notes in our cloud? We asked: why would a clinician's notes leave the clinician's workstation? The answer was always convenience for the vendor, never benefit for the patient or the record.
Psygil's architecture is the answer we believe the field deserves. Your patient's data stays where you create it. Our servers handle fulfillment and a daily license ping. Nothing else.
Local-first by design
Psygil is a desktop application. Clinical records live on the clinician's workstation. Our servers handle fulfillment and a daily license check. PHI does not transit our infrastructure in the default configuration. See the HIPAA notice for how we handle the exceptions.
No trackers, no profiling
The marketing site runs Cloudflare Web Analytics without cookies. The desktop app ships no telemetry. We do not use customer work product to train models. We do not sell or share personal information. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Shipping cadence
We release on a weekly cadence when changes are ready and never on a Friday afternoon. Release notes land in-app and by email to subscribers. Security fixes ship out of band with a public advisory. Responsible disclosure has a clear safe harbor. See Security.
Support is a human
Every ticket is read by someone on the team. Tier-based response targets are set in writing in the Support SLA. Enterprise customers have a named technical contact. There is no automated reply bot.
